How we got our start In 1979 a high school math teacher wanted a retail store. He looked at all sorts of apparel eventually landing on hats, there would be zero competition. A good friend said: “There is a good reason you don’t have competition, hats went out style with President Kennedy. You have bats in your belfry!”
